Greetings everyone!. I discovered Tekbuddy through a friend of mine in September 2023. We were having a random conversation about career navigating and how uncertain, scared and confused I was feeling at that time. The fact that I wanted to do so much and be so much all at once, the fear of leaving what I had going at that time, the uncertainty of what the future holds and more importantly where my true fulfillment lies. I reached out to "Tekbuddy" and then began the whirlwind. I remember one of the first conversations I had with the co-founder, she mentioned something about "being happy doing what you're doing" and for me that felt bizarre cause it wasn't exactly what I was consciously looking for. Girl just wanted to start a career in tech and make plenty of money! Lol!. I didn't consider the possibility of making money, being happy and feeling fulfilled all at once as an option. Hell, I didn't think it could be possible, Atleast not for me.

The entire process of figuring out a fulfilling career path felt too good to be true. The Tekbuddy team was there every step of the way. I was given a series of tasks to do and I must say it was an eye opening experience. The patience, commitment and understanding from the entire team was/is 100. I'm grateful for the experience, I'm grateful I found my calling, I am grateful for the peace that came/comes with it. I will end with this; There's that feeling, that JOY that comes with knowing you're doing exactly what you're meant to be doing, knowing you're meant to be on "THAT" path, a self realization that "this is MINE, this is where I belong". A feeling that feels like a soft touch, a hug from God. A gentle "nod" from the universe edges you on. That is what finding one's purpose feels like. A big shout out to Mrs I, I pray the Lord rewards you and perfects all that concerns you. Amen. A very big thank you to the entire Tekbuddy team. Thank you thank you thank you!

COMFORT

This year I told GOD I wanted to have a focus this year for my career. I had been in and out of career paths, touching base here and there but there was no clear confirmation for me. I knew I wanted to be in tech but I was not sure how to go about it. I was being careful because I understood the tendency for people to rush into things just because they believe it will make them a lot of money. I was looking for fulfillment. I knew if I found that the money was certain. I found Tekbuddy one day while doing research and joined the community.

From there on, I was opportune to be part of a close-knit group called Career Discovery. I will be honest, I didn't know what to expect but now that I think about it, I think I was expecting to be given a list of tech roles and their responsibilities and then I do mini mini mani moo and select a career path. Instead, we were provided with clear guidance, strategies, and tools to help us discover, note the word, "discover" by ourselves what we wanted to do in the tech industry. There is a different kind of conviction that comes when you discover something yourself. First of all, I am grateful to GOD, truly He answers prayers. I am also thankful to Mrs. I, for being different. I subscribed to a lot of tech-related stuff this year and hers is different. Excellently distinct. The rest sound the same. No difference whatsoever. I say a big thank you to the founders of Tekbuddy. GOD bless you all.

My name is Faith, and I'd like to share my incredible journey of transitioning into the tech industry. I initially studied Biomedical Technology at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. While my background was in a different field, my passion for money and technology drove me to seek new horizons. In 2021, I took a bold step and enrolled in a Digital Marketing course, eager to expand my skill set. Later that year, I further honed my expertise by completing a Product Management course in October 2021. I further applied to study a Complete Product Management course in August 2022 and I did well. However, my journey wasn't without its challenges. Despite my determination, finding the right opportunity remained elusive.

It was in January 2023 when everything changed. I received a call from Mrs. Precious, the Co-Founder of TekBuddy, who recognized my potential. She said, "I see you as a people person, with your background in public speaking, people management, and event hosting. You'll excel as a Community and Engagements Lead." My interview automatically turned into a clarity discovery session. It wasn't the ideal career I wanted but I agreed to try it out for 3 months. Fast forward nine months, and it's been an amazing adventure. I love what I do- creating compelling content that drives engagement. My passion lies in nurturing vibrant online and offline communities. If you're reading this, I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your community and bring my expertise to your team.

My name is Oluwaleye Jolade Faith, a student at the University of Ibadan, Abeokuta campus. I'm a Customer experience analyst. My journey into finding my path in tech, from feeling lost to understanding the steps to take, began when I reached out to a friend, expressing my desire to start a career in technology. However, I was unsure of the necessary steps to take. My friend provided me with Tekbuddy's contact information and encouraged me to get in touch and share my aspirations, which I promptly did. My message reached Mrs. Precious, and I received a response outlining the steps to follow. At that time, I felt completely clueless and couldn't even identify my natural skills and strengths. I vividly recall Mrs. Precious asked me about my strengths-things that come naturally to me-and I struggled to provide a coherent response because I simply didn't know.

With Mrs. Precious's guidance, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, identifying my innate talents and the areas I enjoyed working in effortlessly. I even discovered skills I hadn't recognized before, giving credit to my true self. My journey began under Mrs. Precious' mentorship, and I was astonished by the progress I made in understanding my strengths and the steps required to leverage them effectively. I can now confidently relate my abilities to tech-related jobs, pursue relevant courses, and work towards establishing a fulfilling career. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mrs. Precious. Your assistance has been invaluable, and I attribute my transformation to your unwavering support.
